What is Florida Huddle Mexico?

Based on the successful and long-running Florida Huddle model, this new tradeshow will feature pre-requested, pre-scheduled appointment sessions and networking opportunities. Florida Huddle Mexico will be a contracting cornerstone for Mexico based tour operators and wholesalers. Every region of Florida will be there, under one roof, with destinations, attractions and properties prepared to network and conduct business.

Florida Huddle Mexico will be divided in two sections: day one will be exclusively reserved for one-on-one appointments between tour operators and Florida suppliers. On day two, we will open the floor for all tour operators and pre-approved travel agents. Even though one-on-one appointments can certainly be conducted, a tradeshow with a traditional format will take place as well.

Show format

We decided on a table top format, instead of a full booth build, in an effort to make your life easier: no need to ship your booth to Mexico City and spending hours setting it up. Instead, all exhibitors will receive one table top, chairs, waste basket and an ID sign, with plenty of space for pop-ups, etc.

The Huddle Process

To exhibit, organizations need to be a Florida Supplier or provide a product or service for Florida, such as an airline, cruise company, etc. Visit this page for an overview of costs and to start your registration.

Show Day One: October 10
Please note that Florida Huddle Mexico is strictly an appointment-based tradeshow on day one. Attendees HAVE TO register prior to the show, onsite registration will NOT be available. Large part of the success of the show is all attendees requesting an appropriate number of appointments and attending all of them.

About five to six weeks prior to the show, attendees’ Appointment Requesting Modules will open in their myHuddle. Computer-generated appointment schedules are based on attendee requests, with the priority order of:

  • First priority: Mutual request
  • Second priority: Buyer request
  • Third priority: Supplier requests

This Appointment Requesting Period will close about two weeks before the show. After that, mutual requests will be scheduled first, then requests made by buyers, followed by requests made by suppliers. Once the initial schedules are available, attendees will have the opportunity to directly communicate with other delegates via the Manual Scheduling Module. Attendees can add appointments or discuss, cancel and even re-schedule business appointments. This module will be accessible from any computer or in the Florida Huddle Mexico app.

Show Day Two: October 11
To attend the second day, organizations can also be a travel agency, in addition to the tour operators, receptives, incentive travel buyer or wholesaler mentioned above.
